Prior to founding MARGEE DREWS DESIGN in 1998, Margee was the Director of Design for Acapulco Restaurants, Long Beach, CA; Senior Interior Designer at Beckham Eisenman Commercial Design in Irvine, CA and In-house Interior Designer for EL Torito Restaurants located in Irvine, CA.

With experience that extends over two decades, Margee has brought her distinctive design, creativity and extensive resources to restaurants, private clubs & hospitality organizations such as Xperience Restaurant Group's new SOL Mexican Cocina Irvine CA,  American Golf Corporation, Downtown Disney's Taqueria, Pick up Stix, California Pizza Kitchen, 100's of Real Mex Restaurants, Marie Callender's, Las Brisas Restaurant in Laguna Beach CA, FABLE & SPIRIT Newport Beach, Siniqual Restaurant NYC and dozens of other high profile restaurants across the nation and art installations internationally.

Margee’s ability to visualize exciting new interiors has helped put the fast casual restaurant LYFE Kitchen on the very top of the list for the  Hot New Concepts by Nation’s Restaurant News. The fast casual concept featured a residential vibe along with sustainable products and finishes supporting the restaurant’s message for complete healthy living. Most recently her design vision assited Fable & Spirit in landing Golden Foodies 2019 RETAURANT OF THE YEAR.  She also provides design consultation on high profile projects internationally for Synergy Restaurant Consultants.

MARGEE DREWS DESIGN recieved an NEWH 2020 Top Interior Designer  (TopID) Award for the Orange County Chapter. NEWH is the premier international networking resourse  for the hospitality industry.

Margee is an Allied Member of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID); Illuminating Engineers Society (IES) and NEWH Organization.  Ms. Drews is a graduate from California State University, Long Beach, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design with a Minor in Industrial Design and upon graduation was presented with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) award for Outstanding Graduating Senior. Margee resides in Newport Beach CA with her husband- and when not designing & building things together they enjoy sailing with family and friends.
